About the Exhibition
"Byzantine Nostalgia" was a large-scale project that brought together Ukrainian and Polish artists. The exhibition’s concept was based on exploring parallels between Polish and Ukrainian art, cultural traditions, and codes, as well as their shared roots.
Exhibition curator Viktoria Burlaka emphasized the importance of investigating common cultural sources and the coexistence of two aspects—sacred and secular, spirituality and physicality.
