On June 22, took place the opening of the SACO Contemporary Art Biennial in Antofagasta City (Republic of Chile), which gathered more than 73 artists from different countries. Ukraine was presented by artist ZINAIDA with the video Wedding Crown including two video fragments. The first one tells about the special custom of creating a wedding accessory made of goose feathers, and the second one flows from the traditions of initiation. These are mythological and ethnic images and shades of the times of our land today.

The wedding wreath as an accessory of wedding ceremonial dress was a symbol of the initiation for a girl. In our territories, only in one region - Ivano-Frankivsk region - there was a rare tradition of weaving a wreath made of white goose feathers, which flowed in the stream of various events on our land.
